TPI Composites (TPI), a major supplier of wind blades around the world, recently turned to Measured Intentions to help remedy its serious workforce crisis. TPI needed to recruit and retain hundreds of quality employees to meet their tough production deadlines, yet the company faced many challenges. A poor reputation in the community, a retention loss rate of over 30% and an overloaded HR department made it difficult to fulfill their workforce needs.


Measured Intentions conducted dozens of interviews to identify TPI’s underlying recruitment and retention challenges and developed a strategic plan complete with budgets and timeline to implement. TPI has begun implementing the plan and is on their way to rebuilding their reputation and improving workforce retention. Already TPI has been able to cut its weekly retention losses by more than half! The company went from losing 12-14 workers a week to losing only 5-6 (and according to TPI, those leaving are those who needed to go).
